KLOSTER BMW RECENTLY launched the new BMW X3. Wider, longer and taller than its predecessor and sporting a beautifully engineered eightspeed auto option the X3 has already got the others cars in its class looking nervous. Combining elegant design with versatile functionality and exceptional driving dynamics, BMW has taken an already successful design and created a real stunner of a new model.
The interior has benefited from some great additions. The centre console has been angled towards the driver for better ergonomics and now holds a colour screen linked to the reversing camera. Passengers in the back will enjoy more leg room and better storage options with a 40:20:40 split rear seat, ideal for carrying longer loads. If all that’s not enough, you can also specify leather-lined, electronically controlled seats to personalise your cabin.
In terms of performance, the new X3 is an all-round winner, with faster acceleration and a higher top speed, coupled with improved fuel consumption. The range comprises a six cylinder petrol and a choice of four or six cylinder diesel, all of which accelerate faster and have improved fuel consumption. The three litre diesel goes from zero to 100km/h in 6.2 seconds while requiring only a miserly 6.0 litres per 100km.
As if that wasn’t enough, BMW has also claimed a world first, allowing you access the internet on the main screen via your mobile phone. Taking all this into account, it’s time you got behind the wheel of a cool new BMW X3 at
Kloster BMW.
